1. Eligibility and Age Gating

To use Babileto, you must be at least 16 years of age (in compliance with GDPR and EU child safety regulations). During registration, you are required to provide a valid date of birth. Any accounts found to belong to individuals under 16 will be suspended and deleted immediately.

2. Architectural Limits (Maximum 4 Levels)

Babileto operates under strict software design principles. All conversation threads ("papiros") are limited to a maximum depth of 4 levels of nested replies. This rule is enforced at the database and application layer to foster focused, high-resolution debates and prevent infinite, toxic arguments. You agree not to bypass or attempt to bypass this architectural restriction.

3. Trust Score and Moderation

To maintain a zero-fault environment, each user profile is associated with a dynamic Trust Score calculated automatically by the database.

• Reputation: Receiving positive votes and contributing to deep debates increases your Trust Score.
• Spam Prevention: Spamming, trolling, or coordinated malicious activity reduces your score.
• Rate Limiting: Users with a low Trust Score will face automated, strict API rate limits to protect the community.

AI and Algorithmic Moderation

We run real-time moderation using AI models (Llama-Guard) deployed at the Cloudflare Network Edge. Every post is evaluated for safety prior to publication. In compliance with the EU AI Act and Digital Services Act (DSA):

• Automatic moderation actions (such as placing a post in quarantine) are logged with audit metadata explaining the decision.
• You have the right to appeal any automatic moderation action through our internal appeal system, which guarantees a human review of the decision.

4. User Code of Conduct

You agree not to use the platform to:

• Publish illegal, harassing, defamatory, or highly toxic content.
• Deploy automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to manipulate votes or posts.
• Impersonate other professionals, skills, or organizations.
• Attempt to compromise the security, performance, or integrity of the platform.

5. Liability and Disclaimers

Babileto is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. While we use a "Zero-Fault" engineering standard to minimize bugs, we are not liable for any data loss, service downtime, or third-party content posted on the platform.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain and the directives of the European Union. Any legal disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Madrid, Spain.
